    History of Taos Wrestling

    Taos Wrestling has been going strong for over 30 years. Coach David Stormo has been working with wrestlers in the Taos area for over 25 years. Taos has an extensive and impressive record over these years:

    A-AAA

  • State Champions: 1988 and 1989
  • State Runner up: 1987, 1992
  • 3rd Place: 1977, 1985, 1990

  • 2-AAA

  • District Champions: 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999
